The Board of AHLC consists of the following members:

Judith Rizk- Chairperson, Judith and her family are long-term residents of Cairo.

Leo Ochiro - Board Member, Leo is from Sudan. He works in International Development and is involved with many local initiatives that support Sudanese refugees living in Egypt.

Sele Zongo Board Member, Sele is a diplomat and musician. Originally from Congo, Sele has lived in Cairo for over nine years. Several of Sele’s children are graduates of AHLC.

Sandra ShafferBoard secretary, Sandra is an American citizen who grew up in East Africa. She has a background in Education and has worked in the United States, Bangladesh and Egypt.

Nancy Esposito Director of Primary School, She is from the United States and has a background in Early Childhood Education. She has lived in various countries in the North Africa-Middle East area since 1998, and has taught and worked with children of all ages

Lim Nan Director of High School, He also enjoys teaching Bible to two classes. Playing and watching football is one of his favorite pastimes. His wife, Christy Chew, is the school social worker. They are both from Singapore.

Anita Matthews - Board Member, Anita is from India and is a journalist by profession. She has worked in leading newspapers in India and the UAE. She has also done short teaching assignments.

Cartier Rose Chan - Board Member, she first came to Egypt 20 years ago to study Arabic and since then has lived and worked in several other countries such as Japan, United States, Germany, China, etc. She has a background in global business managment and education. She is married to a Canadian diplomat.
